Hi, I’m Lisa👋🏼
The face and founder behind Sennen Creative, my digital content marketing business that made it off the vision board and into reality in 2024.
Based in Cornwall, UK - I help hospitality businesses attract their dream customers with social media, copywriting, and content creation.
I grew up in the maritime town of Falmouth, and over the last decade I’ve climbed the marketing career ladder, moving from the coast to the bright lights of London - and back again!
I have a passion for travel, which inspired my move from the corporate world to freelance life. I now get to work with clients around the world doing what I love the most.
How it started
After graduating from The University of Portsmouth with a first class Creative and Media Writing degree under my belt, I started where most new graduates begin their journey, at the bottom of the ladder.
Slowly clambering up the rungs, I soaked up every bit of knowledge along the way. From Marketing Assistant to Senior Social Media Manager, six years of climbing took me to a place in my career I was both proud of, and unsatisfied with in equal measure.
The higher you climb, the less you do of the thing you love. Creating content, writing, strategising, and brand building became diluted with managing other people, office politics, back-to-back meetings, and punching a clock.
It wasn’t for me.
Sennen Creative was born from a desire to kick down the ladder and get back in control, building a life with flexibility and freedom for myself.
Now I get to connect with new people, and work with businesses and brands in the hospitality industry that I admire, to help them reach their dream audience and tell their story.
A few fun facts about me
✈️ In 2020 I started my own lifestyle blog. It was originally based around things to see and do in my home county of Cornwall, but now I share my adventures from all around the world.

🌊 Cold water swimming and running are two of my favourite ways to unwind when I’m not working.

🏠 I’ve been working since I was 14 years old. My first job was waitressing at a local restaurant in my hometown, where I fell in love with food and the hospitality industry.

🇨🇭 If I had to spend the rest of my life in just one country, it would probably be Switzerland. I fell in love with Interlaken and life in the Swiss Alps.
